Along the iconic 9 de Julio Avenue, behold the majestic Colon Theater and the renowned “Obelisco.” Venture to the historic Plaza de Mayo, where landmarks such as the Casa Rosada (Pink House), housing the iconic balcony where Evita Perón addressed the masses, the Cathedral with the mausoleum of General San Martín, and the Cabildo (Town Hall) await our exploration. Continuing along May Avenue, linking Plaza de Mayo to the Congress, revel in the architectural splendor of Art Nouveau buildings, historic hotels, theaters, and cafes. Our journey leads us to San Telmo, a vibrant neighborhood adorned with cobblestone streets, artist studios, and antique shops. Traverse Dorrego Square, is renowned for its bustling Sunday antique fair. Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of La Boca, characterized by its picturesque tenements and the iconic Caminito street, where artists showcase their work. Next, we visit Puerto Madero, a revitalized port area transformed into a chic residential and dining hub in the 1990s. Explore its contemporary architecture, upscale restaurants, and scenic waterfront. Continuing north, we pause at San Martín Square, surrounded by elegant French-style buildings in one of Buenos Aires’ most distinguished areas. Our journey concludes with a leisurely stroll through Palermo, renowned for its expansive parks, rose gardens, and tranquil lakes—a favorite spot for locals to engage in sports and leisurely walks. At 9:30 a.m. depart on a morning journey to San Fernando port, a one-hour drive from Buenos Aires, where we will board our private boat “Afrodita.” Just 30 kilometers north of the city lies the extraordinary ecological area of the Paraná River delta, a sprawling network of over 5,000 islands. While exploring this tropical district, we’ll come across rowing clubs, restaurants, and cafés that were once popular gathering spots for the local elite. Enjoy lunch aboard the boat, and for those seeking additional adventure, kayaks can be added for a closer exploration of the river. Later, embark on a leisurely bike tour through the vibrant green spaces of Buenos Aires. Cruise along tree-lined paths, admire stunning gardens, and discover hidden gems in the city’s parks. In the morning, you will be transferred to Aeroparque (domestic airport) to catch your flight to Bariloche. Wake up to the soothing sounds of nature and a sumptuous breakfast to kickstart your day of exploration. Explore the Argentine side of the falls on a full-day excursion to “Devil’s Gorge” and surrounding areas abundant with wildlife such as plush-crested jays, reddish-bellied parakeets, toucans, and coatis. Upper Path: Take a leisurely 500-meter walk (45 minutes) offering panoramic views of iconic waterfalls including the Two Sisters, Bosseti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá, and San Martín. Lower Path: Embark on a 1,300-meter walk (1 hour and 30 minutes) to gain a different perspective of the falls from above. Devil’s Throat: Board a scenic train for a 4-kilometer journey to the Devil’s Throat Station, followed by a walkway to the balcony of Devil’s Throat—an awe-inspiring, U-shaped cataract towering 82 meters high and 150 meters wide, marking the Argentina-Brazil border.
