Itinerary in Detail

Day 1 | Arrival to Santiago de Chile

Upon arrival in Santiago de Chile, meet and greet your guide and transfer to your hotel.  Today we explore the historical and modern sights of Santiago de Chile. We start our trip at the main avenue Alameda Bernardo O’Higgins by visiting La Moneda, the Government Palace, where we learn about the historical and current importance of this place. Following this, we walk through the pedestrian streets of Huérfanos and Ahumada, where the main commercial activity of the city is concentrated. Afterward, we visit the famous main square of the city called Plaza de Armas, which is surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral and other historical buildings. We continue with a view of the Santa Lucia hill, the mount upon which the Spanish founded Santiago in 1,541.  It is a solitary rocky outcrop adorned with lush vegetation, featuring an ancient structure that ascends prominently from the city below.  Then, we cross the Mapocho River to get to Bellavista, the cultural and artistic neighborhood of Santiago. Bellavista lies at the foot of the San Cristóbal Hill, the highest in town, in the middle of the Metropolitan Park. We go up the hill to explore the surroundings while enjoying beautiful panoramic views of the city. Finally, we visit Providencia with its top restaurants, elegant shops and modern high-rise buildings. After our explorations, we call it a day and return to the hotel.  Overnight at a Neo-classic Singular room at the Singular Hotel in Santiago.

Day 2 | Santiago de Chile-Easter Island

Experience a seamless transition from Santiago to Easter Island as you’re transferred to the airport for your flight. Upon arrival at Easter Island, a dedicated team from the hotel warmly welcomes you and facilitates your transfer to Nayara Hangaroa, strategically located, offering proximity to the town that enables travelers to effortlessly immerse themselves in the vibrant Rapa Nui culture within minutes. The hotel’s commitment extends beyond providing a luxurious stay; it emphasizes building in harmony with nature, preserving ample space for wildlife and wilderness, while actively contributing to the growth of the local community. Engaged in numerous social and environmental initiatives, Nayara Hangaroa is a beacon of environmental friendliness and social responsibility, seamlessly blending these principles with innovative design and respect for local culture.  The overarching vision is to positively impact the island and the Rapa Nui community, transcending mere sustainability for future generations to thrive on the island. Community involvement is integral to their initiatives, with locals participating as guides and communicators, sharing the rich history of the Rapa Nui.
