The cave system consists of a series of chambers leading to a massive crystalline cathedral where sacrificial rites once took place. Here you can still see sacred items such as skeletons sacrificed to the gods of the underworld, along with ceramics and stoneware left by the Maya. This experience requires a good level of physical fitness and agility to get through tight passageways. Participants in this cave adventure must be able to swim, and at least 48” tall.   the ATM cave tour is included and normally it is done on Mon, Wed and Fri, therefore the exact order of your itinerary may change.
